Let me introduce this Mini Project. It‘s basically a simple SUBD 25 connector that allows you to connect RJ45 at back of your audio hardware. The main idea is to extend with a CAT5e cable 4 Microphone cables. A CAT5e Cable basically consist out of 4 twisted pairs and a GND Connection. So in our case all of these Microphone cables share the same GND. In that Case each Connector is connected with the corresponding on the other side. You can connect our CAT EXTENDERS to the RJ45 port or you connect two SUB D25 Apadapter with two CAT5e cables to make a SUB D25 cables. If you want to mix the way signals will run trough the cable, it‘s totally your decision. Our CAT EXTEND PCBs have the same Pinout of RJ45 connections. Sub D is a male connection.
Pinout is standard Tascam Pinout, for Analog and digital Signals.
The DIY Kit comes with 2xShielded Gold Contact Molex Connectors, SUB D25 Connector and two Screws for connecting to any SUB D25 port.
